This Morning Wood vintage baseball bat is an excellent replica of the Ball Balance style baseball bat. The unique part of this baseball bat design is the large Ball Balance-like knob on the end of the handle, which counterbalances the swing. This antique baseball bat design was made by the J.F. Hillerich & Son Company and was patented on August 1st, 1904. Its main competitor was the A. G. Spalding & Bros. sporting goods company’s Mushroom Bat that came out in 1903, and which is now offered by Morning Wood Baseball Bat Company for your collection as well.
