Morning Wood’s MW318 model is designed for hitters seeking more bat speed. The barrel diameter of the MW318 is between the MW141 and the MW243, making it more manageable and less top-heavy compared to a traditional power hitter’s bat.

It has a similar barrel to the MW13, but its weight distribution is slightly different and the weight is more in the barrel. Additionally, many customers have commented on how comfortable the MW318 feels when gripped with their bottom hand, having a fairly straight transition from the handle to the knob.

For extra durability without sacrificing pop, the tweaked barrel is offset by a denser (i.e. harder) wood.
